Anything Goes #2 + Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en #4

Quick post as once again I have left it very late to enter the Anything Goes Challenge #2 but on the other hand I will be entering the Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en #4 on the day it was published.  Just one extreme to the other.

Anything Goes Challenge #2 - Pink & Cream + Pearls & Lace.

Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge #4 - Sketch by Andrea

The pink paper is by Tinker & Co and the cream paper is from stash. The lace is about 40 years old and I pinched it from my mum's old needle case.  I knew I kept it 27 years for a reason. I hope that having pearl-escent card candy counts as pearls because short of cutting up my necklace they are all I have. Ooohhh, I just remembered one of my tops has pearls round the neck, I think the top will look just as good with a plain neck.  What do you think?  Maybe next time.  My image was a freebie I got from CJ the owner of Cowgirl stamps, I happened to mention there wasn't a button to her shop on her blog and she sent me this lovely image as a thank you.  The sketch I followed was by the talented Andrea.

It was about 10:30pm when I started this card, I was going to go to bed when I remembered the Anything Goes Challenge, I am really please with how it turned out.  The colours are a lot more vibrant in real life.  P.S. Who is stealing the days, I'm sure there used to be 7 in week but it only feels like 5 now.

I hope everyone had a good weekend and I will be visiting you soon.
