Old scrapbook page

As I am trying to get back to making  more posts I have pulled out an old scrapbook page I made at one of Lynne's classes at Craft Den.  All the papers etc were from Craft Den and the picture was added afterwards.  I am entering it into the Anything Goes Challenge Brads & Eyelets, the eyelets are where the ribbon is crossed and the centres of the flowers are velvety brads.  ( I really just wanted to show of my cute little daughter in one of my favourite outfits).  We were at the Wrinkled Stocking Cafe in Holmfirth when this picture was taken.  They do delicious cream teas.

Quick post today.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Daisy Doodles #12 + Pollycraft Monday #51

I hope this card meets all the challenges I have entered it for.

Daisy Doodles Challenge #12 - recipe - 1 ribbon, 2 pattern papers, 3 brads (I hope my strip of paper will pass as a ribbon as I don't have any blue.
Pollycraft Monday Challenge #51 - sketch - This is a sketch by Marit

The papers are from a 6 x 6, K & Co. pad Hopscotch, the blue paper for matting is from stash.  The skater image is from Sliekje and the sentiments are from Pollycraft.

Off to do my seaside theme for Anything Goes Challenge #6 (6 already).

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.  Happy Crafting.  :-) xx

Anything Goes #2 + Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en #4

Quick post as once again I have left it very late to enter the Anything Goes Challenge #2 but on the other hand I will be entering the Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en #4 on the day it was published.  Just one extreme to the other.

Anything Goes Challenge #2 - Pink & Cream + Pearls & Lace.

Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge #4 - Sketch by Andrea

The pink paper is by Tinker & Co and the cream paper is from stash. The lace is about 40 years old and I pinched it from my mum's old needle case.  I knew I kept it 27 years for a reason. I hope that having pearl-escent card candy counts as pearls because short of cutting up my necklace they are all I have. Ooohhh, I just remembered one of my tops has pearls round the neck, I think the top will look just as good with a plain neck.  What do you think?  Maybe next time.  My image was a freebie I got from CJ the owner of Cowgirl stamps, I happened to mention there wasn't a button to her shop on her blog and she sent me this lovely image as a thank you.  The sketch I followed was by the talented Andrea.

It was about 10:30pm when I started this card, I was going to go to bed when I remembered the Anything Goes Challenge, I am really please with how it turned out.  The colours are a lot more vibrant in real life.  P.S. Who is stealing the days, I'm sure there used to be 7 in week but it only feels like 5 now.

I hope everyone had a good weekend and I will be visiting you soon.

Anything Goes #1... and it went + Tellen's Place Challenge #20

This was my entry for Anything Goes Challenge #1 - Blue, Yellow & Brown, but I've mis-read the date and thought I had time to post this on Tuesday.  I may just see if I can still link as it's only just Tuesday.  I have chosen a photo of my son at Legoland in 2007.  He loves going to Legoland but is getting a bit big to go on his favourite rides.  I have used 2 pattern papers from a DCWV Stack 6 and plain paper from Papermania.  I cut the LEGO out with my Craft Robo.  I am also entering this LO into Tellen's Place Challenge #20 - 2 designer papers.  I hope it passes for Tellen's as you can only see a small amount of the 2nd designer paper.

Only a short post today as I am very tired and going to bed now.
