Crafting When We Can Challenges 30 - Choose a countries flag

As usual we had loads of fab entries for Challenge 29 and there seems to be lots of Winter Weddings in the offing going on the number of entries we had.

This fortnight the Challenge is choose a countries flag and use the colours from it for you colour scheme.  It can be a card, scrap page, alter art as long as it follows the theme and rules we don't mind.

Our wonderful sponsor for this Challenge is

and they are offering the Winner 4 images of their choice.

We were all given a choice of image from the store and I chose China Honey, once again it's for my daughter as she is in a production of Aladdin, which is set in China.  All the paper, flowers etc are from my stash, the die is a Nellie Snellen die and the image was coloured with Promarkers and Copics.  I used a gold Sakura pen to colour the flowers and Honey's top.

I've used shiny papers for my card and it takes a rubbish photo.  When I've time I might try taking another in daylight.

To show us your creations just hop over to the Challenge and leave your entry with the froggy and we'll be over to leave you some love.

Off to the seaside now so hope it doesn't rain.  Hats, scarves and gloves at the ready as it's freezing outside and I can only imagine it will be even colder at the coast.

Crafting When We Can Challenges #29 - Wedding Celebrations

Thank you to the people who entered our last Challenge, as usual the work was fantastic. The Winner and Top 3 have been announced on the Challenge Blog.

The Challenge this fortnight is

Wedding Celebrations

and our wonderful Sponsor is

As we didn't have an image to use this Challenge I have chosen a scrapbook/calendar page I made for my MIL and her brother and sisters for Christmas last year.  The pictures are of her Mother and Father and they were married in April 1924.  I put pictures of various family on 12 pages using CraftArtist and made a little calendar down the side of each page.  I then bound it using a bind it all.

I have taken the names and date from the top right corner.
To join in with our Challenge this fortnight all you have to do is hop over and leave your work with the blue froggy.
