Challenge 111 - Celebrating any occasion

It's been a long time since I posted on here.  I was busy with costumes for a Panto and then I've not been very well but hopefully I'm over the worst now and will be getting back into crafting.

We still have a week left on the DT call so hop over and have a look

Over at Crafting When We Can Challenges we have a wonderful sponsor with
Artbymiran

and the theme is
Celebrating any occasion

Prize: 3 images from the store

I used an image I already had as it fitted the theme perfectly it is called Princess, a colouring page.  I have used this image to make a Wedding card.  I know what you'll say about the colour of her dress but I like a little colour and would choose a dress with colour for myself.  I used my Spectrum Noir pens and some double sided card from Create and Craft.  In the sale they were selling a £150 box of goodies for £20, who could miss this.  I was really pleased with the package and can see myself using everything that was in the parcel.  Once again I used my Tonic Deco oval dies, love these dies. My sentiment is a Die'sire sentiment. The gold ribbon was from Craft Den Studio and the red was from my stash, probably off a box as I had 2 pieces just long enough to go over the front of an A5 card.  The bling is from a pack of bling for the body, they were on offer and about a quarter of the price of craft bling, sometime you just fall lucky.   Enough of the waffle here is my card.

Now you've seen my card why don't you hop over to the Challenge and show us your Celebratory project.  As long as you follow the rules you will be in with a chance to win the wonderful prize.

Challenge 97 - Favourite colour combo

For this challenge we have the fabulous

The prize is 3 images from the store.

Theme:  Favourite colour combo

For my card I chose Dreaming of Spring.  I really love this image, the way Mi Ran have drawn her staring off into the distance.  I don't think I have a favourite colour combo but I seem to be drawn towards purple & green when I make my cards so this is the colour combo I chose.  I also included a blue to match the sky in my image.  The papers are from my stash, bought over the years.  I coloured the image with spectrum noir pencils. The butterfly was cut using a tonic die and the sentiment is from Crafters Companion.  The card background is from a digikit in CraftArtist.  Pearls from The Works.

I hope my card has given you some inspiration and if you want to leave your favourite colour combo project on the challenge you may be in with a chance of winning the fabulous prize.  Hop over and leave some love to my team mates.

Challenge 87 - Favourite Saying or Quote

This post is very late but you still have 6 days to join in Challenge 87.  All you have to do is use your favourite quote or saying on your project and follow the rules to be in with a chance of winning the great prize on offer by our wonderful sponsor.

Prize - 3 images from the store

You know how you have an idea in your head but your brain just won't play ball and put it down on paper.  Well this is just such an occasion.  When I planned out this card I quite liked the simplicity of it but in reality it came out Pants with a capital P.  I loved colouring the image, Heartfelt and I really like the quote.  I found a bat image for free and I thought this is going well.  Then I started to put it together.  I'll use wet glue thought I.  What a numpty idea.  Everything looked alright at first then the glue soaked in and everything buckled.  I put too much glue on and the base card got too wet.  I wasn't go to show it but these things happen.  I think I'll go back to the drawing board with this card and use double sided tape instead.

Hop over and leave your projects with the linky at the bottom of the page.

Crafting When We Can Challenges 65 - Hearts and Flowers

Over at CWWCC the we have the delightful ArtbyMiran as our Sponsor

We were kindly given a choice of image and I chose Princess Color Page.  I really enjoyed working with this image, it gave me chance to practice hair colouring.  I used my Spectum Noir pens and a DCWV paper pad for the heart backing paper.  Gold card was used to compliment her hair and provide the hearts.  I didn't have the right colour card to use as a border so I coloured some white card with the same colour pen I used to highlight the details at the bottom of the dress.  A Martha Steward punch was used for the border edge.

Hop over to the Challenge and leave us your Hearts and Flowers creations.

Crafting When We Can Challenges 63 - Lots of Bling

We had lots of scrummy projects in our last Challenge.  It really made your mouth water with all the wonderful food related projects.

This Challenge is all about the Bling.  The more bling the better.  We have a new wonderful Sponsor

We were allowed to choose the image we wanted to use and I chose
Brittany 1920's Flapper.  I coloured her with spectrum noirs and a glitter gelly roll pen was used to highlight her headdress and shoes (this doesn't show on the photo).  The base card is a magenta satin mirror card and a striped holographic silver card was used for the stripe and mat.  The bling in the corners was from Home Bargains and the sentiment (With Love) is from Craftwork Cards.

To join in with our Lots of Bling challenge, hop over to the Challenge blog and enter your blinged up projects and we will be around to see your projects.
