True Love Sweethearts

I am entering this card into several challenges

Sketch Saturday #115 - sketch by Emma
Flutter By Wednesday #117 - open challenge - must have something with wings
Crafty Creations #80 - winged things - the butterfly
Papertake Weekly - something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue - old ~ red paper, new ~ image
Digital Tuesday - Butterflies and/or lace - butterfly and lace punch
Incy Wincy Designs - It's a bugs life - butterfly
Craft Your Days Away #1 - Favourite Things - gold Sakura calligraphy pen

I have kept this card CAS as I wanted the image to be the focal point (as usual with my cards, I would love to be able to put loads of flowers on as I think these look beautiful but it just isn't my style, funny isn't it).  I cut my circles out by hand (hence the wobbly edges) after I had drawn around a couple of tins (my Craftrobo is poorly).  The image is  by CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs and the sketch is a Sketch Saturday one.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers and edged everything with my Sakura gold calligraphy pen.

I will be back on Sunday with my DT posting for the Cowgirl Up Sunday Stamp'en Challenge.  This Sunday we have an inspirational photo, using ribbons and buttons but you still have a day to join in this weeks challenge which is a sketch by Andrea.

4 Challenges - Wooo Hooo

I am entering my card for 4 challenges today.

Sketch Saturday #112 - Sketch
My Time To Craft #100 - Check It Out - to use checks somewhere on your card
Dare U 2 Digi Stamp #42 - Stitching
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays - Animals

This is my entry for the above 4 challenges.

I have used a Cowgirl Up image, coloured with Promarkers, and backing papers from CC's Mrs Tiggywinkle CD (love these ginghams).  I added my faux stitches with an Inkssentials opaque white pen and a black fine liner.  The mats were cut with my new oval Nellie die and the card candy was coloured with Promarkers to match the colours of the checked mats.  The edge of my image was distressed using pink ink.  (ZZZZzzzzzzz even I'm bored reading this sorry will try harder next time)

Just a reminder that the Cowgirl Sunday Stamp'en Challenge theme for this week is a sketch using the colours turqouise, pink or red. This weeks challenge is sponsored by Prairie Fairy the winner will get 5 Prairie Fairy images, 2 Cowgirl images, the Winners Badge and be the Guest Designer for the month of August.  There are also 3 x Top 3 badges up for grabs.

A new challenge will be starting on Sunday around mid-day GMT the sponsor is Michelle Perket.  Please hop on over and have a go I would love to see all your creations.

In the mean time hop over to see the rest of the posse Ang, Annette, Beccy, Elke, Jovita, Lorraine, Peggy, Rach, Sarah W, Sheng.
