**Edited to add Just Inspirational Challenge #9) - A very, very, very quick post for the Delicious Doodles Competition

Teri at Delicious Doodles has decided to have a DT CALL and a competition to celebrate her 1 yr anniversary.  I am not applying for the DT but I would like to enter the competition.  Here is my card.  The sketch is from Just Inspirational Challenge #9.

I have used one of Teri's fantastic doodles and scraps from Creative Cottage, K & Co and my stash.  The snowflakes are from my MS corner punch and have stickles in then middle.  I coloured the white spot in the blue paper read to match the present on top.

Got to go and link now as I only have a about half hour before the competition closes.

Will let you know how I got on camping when I recover.

Cowgirl Sunday Stamp'en Challenge - BLOG HOP

Welcome to our blog hop if you came here from Peggy's blog - Tricky's Creations you are on the right track if not hop over to the Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge to start.  You will find full details of the hop there.

I don't have a letter on my blog but you will be
BLUE and EXCLAIMING
your woe if you don't find this symbol. Leave me a comment and let me know if you found it and you may be in with a chance of some candy.

I have 4 pots of tiny beads and 10 pins to give to 1 lucky blog hopper. You must complete the hop to be eligible for this prize.
From here you need to hop back to the Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge blog and leave a comment to say you have completed the hop.  Full hop details are on the challenge blog.

For the challenge this week our theme is HANDMADE FLOWERS you can add as many flowers as you like as long as you have made them yourself.  You could win all these fantastic flowery ribbons this weeks as our Sponsor is
+
3 images of your choice from CJ's store Cowgirl Up Designs
+
The Winners Badge to display with pride on your blog

There will also be 3 x TOP 3 cards and these will be awarded
2 images of their choice from CJ's store Cowgirl Up Designs
+
The TOP 3 badge to display on their blog.

Here is the project I made for my DT work.  I used paper from my stash and a gorgeous new release from CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs called Lilbit.  I made the flowers by cutting a spiral out of a circle of paper and winding it up from the outside to the inside let it relax and stick it to the piece of card you have left in the middle, which is now on the outside.  (I should have taken a picture of the bottom). I learnt how to make these at a scrapbooking class at Craft Den.  I dabbed stickles onto the roses and the sunflowers on the image.

Here is a close up of the rose
I have used thin organza ribbon (bought from C&C) and threaded it through the holes in the Nellie C die and added 2 bows.  The leaves are from a Woodware punch.

I had a list of challenges to enter this hanger into but my OH phoned on Friday afternoon and said we were going camping for the weekend so I won't be here to link up on Sunday. (I might see if I can find somewhere to plug my OH's netbook into on Sunday and see if I can get on line).  We are camping on an airfield with water from a stand tap (if we're lucky), toilets in a mobile (if you are near the camping site) otherwise it's the dreaded portaloos (won't EVER go in one of those again) and no electric so early nights all round, which is just as well as people get up at 6am and start playing with their model planes.  Forgot to say its show/competion weekend run by the British Model Flying Association where people show off their model planes and helicopters.  It's a weekend away from home and I don't really mind the hardship as the family is together.  Will let you know how we got on when I get back.

To all those who made it to here
THANK YOU.

ATC Swappers - August Swap

These are the ATCs I made for this months swap at ATC Swappers, which is SPORTING SUMMER.  If you want to enter the swap hop over to the blog and leave Paul a comment letting him know you want to swap some ATCs.  The ones I have received have been beautiful works of tiny art.  I am entering my August ATCs into

Just Inspirational Challenge Blog #8 - hobbies/entertainment/activities.

This week the sponsor is Lothian Crafts and the prize is a 'Flippin Bingo' stamp.  It is a lovely challenge and the DT do some beautiful work.  You really should hop over there and join in.  (I won challenge #7 and will hopefully be receiving my prize next week. It is the S.W.A.L.K 'little Princess' stamp.)
.
I hope JIC don't mind the cat it was an extra decoupage ATC for someone who missed the animal antics swap.  For the Sport ATCs I used the PNG images from Bugaboo Stamps and added them to a background paper from Creative Cottage.  I coloured them with Promarkers & Copics.

At first I made ATCs with a footballer and a rally car on them but realised it was Summer Sport and even though football seems to be an all year thing I didn't want to enter it for a Summer challenge and every time I see rally car racing it seems to be raining and muddy (typical British Summer I hear you say) but once again I didn't think of it as being a Summer sport so I went with Gymnastics, fishing, baseball and golf.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, mine has already started as I am off work next week (doing a little dance now can you imagine it, it will give you nightmares if you can). HEEHEE.  Happy Crafting.  :-) xx

All Sticklely

I am entering this card into 4 challenges.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #63 - sketch by Ariana Patten
Moving Along With The Times #60 - Glitter
My Time To Craft #103 - Glitter & Glitz
One Stitch At A Time #26 - Pack A Punch

This card has an image from CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs, she is called Cowgirl and you can pop over to CJ's store to find a variety, and I mean a variety of image designs.

I have used purple 12 x 12 papers from my stash and cut on my Craftrobo (which is poorly and will have to go away for a while) and flowery paper is from DCWV stack 6.  The oval was cut with my Nellie C die and the flowers were punched with a Woodware daisy punch.  I used a Viva pearl pen to dot the edge of the oval mat.  I titled my post 'All Stickley' because as usual after I have used my stickles it is everywhere.  My work inevitably ends up on the floor upside down it gets on my hands, on my face, all over my clothes and on the end of a purple pencil hence the purple dots.  I have no patience and can never wait for things to dry properly, I always end up smudging the stickles and that is why there is stickles everywhere on this card.

The challenge this Sunday at Cowgirl Up Sunday Stamp'en Challenge is Summertime Feeling.  (You still have a couple of days left to enter this weeks challenge which is and Inspirational photo and ribbon & buttons).

Lazy Dayz - I can dream can't I?

I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Moving Along With The Times #59 - sketch
Lothian Crafts - one for the men
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge #15 - yellow and cream or white
Incy Wincy Designs #55 - yellow
Digital Tuesday Challenge #72- use up your scraps
Anything Goes Challenge #12 - layers
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #35 - anything goes.

I have used the scraps I have left from a scrapbook LO it is from DCWV Stack 6.  The yellow mats are from 12 x 12 Papermania textured card stock stack and I have distressed them with my scissors to show the white core.  I coloured a Dustin Pike image with Promarkers and chalked the background with a sand, sea and sky layer but it doesn't really show up on the picture.

I am hoping there is enough yellow on the card for DDCC & IWD challenges, asked my kids what colour they would say is the main colour and they both said yellow, so fingers crossed.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and has a great week.

True Love Sweethearts

I am entering this card into several challenges

Sketch Saturday #115 - sketch by Emma
Flutter By Wednesday #117 - open challenge - must have something with wings
Crafty Creations #80 - winged things - the butterfly
Papertake Weekly - something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue - old ~ red paper, new ~ image
Digital Tuesday - Butterflies and/or lace - butterfly and lace punch
Incy Wincy Designs - It's a bugs life - butterfly
Craft Your Days Away #1 - Favourite Things - gold Sakura calligraphy pen

I have kept this card CAS as I wanted the image to be the focal point (as usual with my cards, I would love to be able to put loads of flowers on as I think these look beautiful but it just isn't my style, funny isn't it).  I cut my circles out by hand (hence the wobbly edges) after I had drawn around a couple of tins (my Craftrobo is poorly).  The image is  by CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs and the sketch is a Sketch Saturday one.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers and edged everything with my Sakura gold calligraphy pen.

I will be back on Sunday with my DT posting for the Cowgirl Up Sunday Stamp'en Challenge.  This Sunday we have an inspirational photo, using ribbons and buttons but you still have a day to join in this weeks challenge which is a sketch by Andrea.

A Gem of a Challenge #7 + By the Cure & Girly + Creative Crafts Challenge

Here is my entry to the challenges below

A Gem of a Challenge #7 - sketch
By the Cute and Girly - Animal Antics
Creative Craft Challenge - Animal Antics

This is a Pink Gem which was a freebie but can now be bought in the Pink Gem Designs shop, which I coloured with my Promarkers.  I used Creative Cottage digi papers, I chose quite plain papers as I wanted the pastel colours to shine through.  I used a ribbon (which the very talented Leann, very kindly donated to a very good home) on top on my new MS border punch (I spent far too much on something I could live without but hey I loved these punches and I could do with not eating for a month or two or three).  I coloured my card candy with my Promarkers too.

Dezinaworld: Spot Prize Challenge - Ice Maiden

This is my digital entry for

This is a new style challenge and you have a chance of winning one of Dezinaworlds fantastic collage sheets.

The theme this week is 'ICE MAIDEN'.  When I showed my OH what I had done and asked if he got what I meant he laughed and said it was definitely what he would call icy.

I tinted the image blue using my computer.  It is bluer than I wanted but I'm still getting used to a new program and don't know all the ins and outs yet.  The image is off the Wedding collage sheet from Dezinaworld.

I hope this is OK for the challenge as June was suggesting a start  to Christmas cards but my warped sense of humour instantly thought of this.

Inspirational Card Sketches #77

I am entering this card into the

Inspirational Card Sketchers #77 - sketch

This is an image from Cowgirl Up Designs.  I have used DCWV green textured Christmas card to mat my image and have distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distessed ink.  The words were printed on my computer.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and I tried to get the uniform to look like a camouflaged uniform.

Just a quick post today as I'm off to work and I didn't want to miss the deadline for the challenge.

Allsorts Challenge #63 + Cute card Thursday + **edited to add Just Inspirational Challenge #6

I am entering the following card for 2 challenges

Allsorts Challenge #63 - Dressing Up
Cute Card Thursday - Whateva
Just Inspirational Challenge #6 - Purple, sparkles & texture

I have used a digi stamp, from the talented CJ of Cowgirl Up Designs, called Golfer. I have coloured her with promarkers and copics. I used chalk to make the background, trying to make it look like she is on a golf course. I stamped up some golf balls and tees and stuck these on foam pads. I used peel off borders and a Sakura calligraphy pen to highlight the edges of the mats. The paper is 12 x 12 paper I got from QVC about 1000 years ago.

This Sunday at the Cowgirl Up Challenge we have a sketch by the lovely, talented Andrea to follow. I bet you can't guess what it looks like.

The sponsor for the next Challenge is

To see the rest of the Posse's work go to the buttons under my header and click.  (You know how to click don't you, just put your cursor on the button and push) (A very tenuous film link there) (If you don't get it, just think of me as some nutty woman who likes to craft).
