Anything Goes #5 + MAWTT #52

This is my entry for Anything Goes Challenge #5 - Vintage and Moving Along With The Times #52 - Sketch.

I have inked my background making the bottom half darker by adding more ink and have punched a border from a Fiskars punch I have had for years but forgot I had until I found it in the bottom of a craft bag.  The picture is from Dezinaworld.  I have used a splash of turquoise because the young lady in the picture has the feathers on her hat colourised turquoise.

The colours are much richer in real life but when you take photos at 11:30 with energy saving lights you get what you get.  (I really must try to craft earlier in the day but I'm more of a night owl).

Off to plan some more cards now.  I have bought myself a book to write the challenges down so I can try to combine them and maybe enter more.  We'll see if it works.

I hope everyone had a good weekend and our American friends had a fantastic 4th of July.

Happy Crafting.

Aww WOW Poppet this is gorgeous, it certainly fits in with the vintage theme. I love your background & the turqoise really adds a nice touch. I'm forever forgetting what I have as well, punches especially I could do with some sort of rack system instead of in a drawer which I forget about lol. Hope you had a nice weekend hun, take care.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xx

A beautiful vintage card Poppet.
Love the colours and the splash of turquoise does bring out the colour on the image.
I'm rubbish at planning out challenges so I might steal your idea and get myself a notebook too.

Ooooh...I love this card, Poppet - what a great image and I love how you integrated the turquoise from her hat into your card; that really stands out beautifully! What a great way to add to your card with the punch like that - very simple, but so fantastic! Hmmm...when I get a chance to do challenges, I have a book too (to keep track of them). I hope you win! :)
