CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN CHALLENGES

It's a Crafter's Companion Challenge #8

This is my 3D project for the IACCCB #8. The theme is 3D and this challenge is being sponsored by Lothian Crafts.

I have used a project from the Crafter's Companion CD 'The World of Beatrix Potter'. It is easy to make but the card I used has a sheen on it and my DST doesn't like to stick to it so I may have to open it up and use wet glue. I took the photos now just in case I ripped it in the process of fixing it.

I am trying to enter more challenges and use up some of my stash but I am still not confident with choosing colours. I never really think the paper or colours I choose go together but my confidence is increasing because of the lovely comments I get on my blog. So thank you to everyone for taking the time out of your busy lives to make a fellow human being feel good about something she has done.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend whatever the weather and where ever you are.

Hi poppet! your colours always look good to me, if your ever unsure just keep the combi simple say 3 colours or papers. If you want to mix patterns, try working in monochrome just while your confidence biulds.

HI Poppet - I spotted your name on our second or third - we must have passed each other! I also said I recognised the name but being so very new to caching didn't link the craft side with the cache side LOL! Love your Beatrix Potter card it's absolutely gorgeous and one of my all time favourite authors! Hope you're having a fabulous Sunday
